4 1/1 Police have been cracking down on illegal parking in two Fenland towns. Officers patrolled St Mary’s Street in Whittlesey, and Grays Lane and Broad Street in March. Across the areas, they gave seven tickets to vehicles parked incorrectly in disabled bays, on the pavement, or on double yellow lines.

This car was driven through a no entry area in Peterborough and later abandoned. (Image: Police) A car driven through a no entry area in Peterborough sped off from police and was later abandoned. The vehicle caught officers’ attention last week when they spotted it going through a no entry in Midland Road, West Town. After the driver sped off to try and evade police, officers found the car abandoned nearby in Allport Close, but there was no driver in sight.

A 90s music icon, Ibiza favourites and the UK's youngest DJ are all set to perform at a new festival in Cambridgeshire. Ely Fest will take place at Ely Rugby Club near the Leisure Village on Saturday May 31 and Sunday June 1. Saturday features a live music main stage with a focus on the 90s and 2000s with tribute acts to Oasis, the Vengaboys, Steps and a live appearance from the original chart-topping Livin' Joy performing some of her biggest hits including Dreamer and Don't Stop Movin'.
