    OSCODA, Mich. (WBKB) - Airport officials in Oscoda are sharing details about a visit from FEMA in September. We spoke by phone with Brenda McNeill, Administrator for the Oscoda-Wurtsmith Airport Authority. She tells us Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) officials visited the airport in mid-September. They toured the 2,200 acre property to see if their space and facilities would be adequate for FEMA to store vehicles and supplies. McNeill said that at this time, no agreement had been reached.

    ALPENA, Mich. (WJMN) - An Alpena man now faces numerous charges related to inappropriate images of a child. According to Michigan State Police (MSP), they were contacted on Wednesday, November 6. A woman reported finding pictures of a child on a phone. Authorities say the nude images were taken using a hidden camera in a bathroom. Authorities identified Eugene Kenneth Hayes of Alpena as a suspect. After being interviewed by MSP, Hayes was arrested and taken to the Alpena County Jail.

    HARBOR SPRINGS, Mich. (WBKB) - Michigan State Police (MSP) released details of an investigation involving explosives in Northern Michigan. According to MSP, troopers from the Gaylord post responded to the New Beginnings Thrift Shop in Harbor Springs on Wednesday afternoon. A worker picked a box of tools that had been donated. When they were looking through the box, the worker found several items they believed to be pipe bombs. The MSP Bomb Squad and Canine Team were called in to investigate.

    ALPENA, Mich. (WBKB) - After voters in Alcona and Alcona Counties cast their votes on November 5, the results are in. In Alcona County, out of 10,663 registered voters, poll books show 7,528 ballots were cast. 5,255 of those voted for President Elect Donald Trump. In the race for the 106th District between Democrat Trina Borenstein and Republican Cam Cavitt, voters in Alcona County totaled 5,236 for Cavitt compared to 1,974 for Borenstein.
