(UPDATE) ABOUT 150 Filipinos in Israel have asked to be repatriated to the Philippines amid continued air strikes from Iran but so far only 26 have confirmed their intention to leave and are being processed, the Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv said. There are over 30,700 Filipinos in Israel who are mostly caregivers. The rest work in hotels. The embassy on Tuesday said 49 Filipinos lost their homes due to the missile attacks and are being housed in temporary shelters.
