Bracy has over 25 years of experience in public education, currently serving as superintendent of Johnston County Schools. Bracy's four-year term begins on or shortly after July 1. There are dozens of shopping centers around Fayetteville. The largest are exactly where you'd expect, along the city's Skibo Road corridor. But some of the city's more prominent centers are also located on major corridors like Raeford Road, Owen Drive and Ramsey Street. More often than not, the shopping centers listed here were built in the 1980s, but some were built as early as the 1950s or as recently as the 2010s.

It's May and officially the start of high school, college and university spring commencement season in Cumberland County. Ceremonies kick off May 3 with Methodist University and continue through early June, when Cumberland County Schools holds most of its ceremonies.
