Sean Higgins, 44, is charged with reckless vehicular homicide, involuntary manslaughter and several other charges related to the crash.

Jayla Call, 31, was indicted for obstructing justice and tampering with evidence after allegedly hiding Daveonte Dixon, who shot two Mifflin Township police officers. Call allegedly deleted text messages and initially denied Dixon's presence in her apartment, but later admitted he was there. Dixon was apprehended with a self-inflicted gunshot wound after firing at deputies and a SWAT team. The two injured officers are recovering, with one remaining hospitalized in serious but stable condition.

A woman accused of helping to hide a man who was on the run after shooting two Mifflin Township police officers has been indicted by a Franklin County grand jury. Jayla Call, 31, was charged in an indictment filed June 6 with obstructing justice and tampering with evidence. She remains in the Franklin County jail in lieu of a $250,000 bond. According to court records, Call helped Daveonte Dixon, who she knew was wanted by police, hide at an apartment on Thelma Court in Obetz.

Two men, James Dukes-Johnson and Michael Davis, were sentenced to life in prison for their roles in a fatal drive-by shooting and drug/human trafficking ring. The shooting occurred on May 31, 2023, resulting in the death of Adrian Smith and the injury of another man. Dukes-Johnson's dog, Savage, inadvertently helped police identify the suspects after jumping out of their vehicle during the shooting.
