    The Harper Creek boys golf team and Beaver senior Joey Mario have been having a great run recently. Unfortunately, only Mario will get a chance to continue that run. Harper Creek competed in a Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 boys golf regional at Island Hills Golf Course on Tuesday. Playing in the highly-competitive regional, Harper Creek's team wasn't able to do enough to advance to the state meet as the Beavers finished in fourth place, one spot out of qualifying.
