Which Ohio State team is the greatest ever? We're setting out to answer that question this summer at The Columbus Dispatch. First, we had to determine the contenders. Ohio State is unique among college football powers. It has never had an extended dip like every other program has. The last time the Buckeyes had consecutive losing seasons was from 1922-24, the first three seasons in which they played at Ohio Stadium.

Scottie Scheffler won his second consecutive Memorial Tournament, joining Tiger Woods as the only back-to-back winners at Muirfield. Scheffler extended his streak to nine consecutive wins when leading after 54 holes, showcasing his dominance in recent years. Runner-up Ben Griffin acknowledged Scheffler's dedication and "robot-like" work ethic as key to his success. Scheffler's consistent play and ability to hit various iron shots impressed fellow golfers like Sepp Straka.

Attendees of the 2025 Memorial Tournament final round are encouraged to wear yellow to support the "Play Yellow" campaign. "Play Yellow" supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, including Nationwide Children's Hospital, inspired by Jack Nicklaus's tradition of wearing yellow. Donations can be made through merchandise sales, at concession stands, the golf shop, and online at playyellow.org. The campaign honors Craig Smith, who died of bone cancer in 1971.

With a late charge in the third round of the Memorial Tournament, Scottie Scheffler enters the final round with a one-shot lead over Ben Griffin. Scheffler parred his first 13 holes before making birdies on four of the final five holes to finish with a 4-under 68 at Muirfield Village Golf Club. He is at 8 under for the tournament. If he wins, he will join Tiger Woods as the only golfers to win back-to-back Memorials.

Scottie Scheffler, the world's top-ranked golfer, birdied four of the last five holes to take the lead in the third round of the Memorial Tournament. Scheffler's strong finish, which included a birdie on the 18th hole, coincided with second-round leader Ben Griffin bogeying the final hole. Despite not making a birdie through the first 13 holes, Scheffler remained confident, citing the challenging conditions at Muirfield Village Golf Club.

I revealed it in the staff bio profile in today's Dispatch, so I want to share that I am writing a book on the 2024 Ohio State season. Like "Buckeye Rebirth" and "The Chase," I'm using fresh interviews to tell the inside story of that journey. The book will be out in the fall.

I am at the NFL combine in Indianapolis. Jack Sawyer and J.T. Tuimoloau have spoken this morning, with Cody Simon, Ty Hamilton and Tyleik Wiliams to follow. Guess who Sawyer's combine roommate is. Check out our live blog, which will be continually updated. https://t.co/eixiwPwwQ5

Since many have reposted (or re-written) my story on Nina Day and what her family has endured, I suppose I should post it here. It's one of those stories I'm sorry I had to write. https://t.co/oPMk4IbjF0
