LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - While we’d love to see some rain across the state - the weather has been remarkedly pleasant over the past several days. We’ll continue to see some unusually quiet weather for early May over the coming days. As an area of low pressure spins its way into the region on Tuesday, western Nebraska will be dealing with some clouds and scattered light rain showers while the eastern half of the state looks for mostly sunny skies.

The Storm Prediction Center has outlined much of eastern Nebraska with a slight and enhanced risk for severe storms - meaning scattered to numerous severe storms will be possible.
