LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A 19-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries after falling about 50 feet from the top of an abandoned grain silo near downtown Lincoln, according to police. Officers and Lincoln Fire & Rescue responded to the structure near South Sixth and G streets around 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Capt. Todd Kocian said the woman had been hanging out at the site with three friends. One friend stayed outside the silo, while the others went inside with her.

KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) will host its 2025 Women’s Golf Championship from Sunday, April 13 to Tuesday, April 15 at Meadowlark Hills Golf Club, with the University of Nebraska Kearney serving as host. All 12 MIAA programs will compete in the three-day postseason event, teeing off with the opening round on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. The final round will conclude on Tuesday, when both a team and individual conference champion will be crowned.
