Presented at the ICEC Fall Convention on November 16, this recognizes educators who demonstrate outstanding commitment to advancing opportunities for students with disabilities and is the most prestigious honor bestowed on a teacher of students with disabilities in Illinois.

News Skills Blackburn College has been chosen by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) to pilot a new hydrogen vehicle qualification. Through its its state-of-the-art Hybrid Electric Automotive Training (HEAT) centre, opened in 2022, it will deliver Level 2 and 3 hydrogen vehicle awareness qualifications aimed at those already working in the industry.

He takes up the following the end of the term of office of previous chair, Lillian Croston, who has served the board for the past decade, first as a governor and then chair from 2019.
