I type the following, “The NFL trade deadline is this week.” Wait, then I realized that my good deed of getting to work early would have to be put on hold until Tuesday Oct. 31 at 4pm eastern, when we know the new landscape of the National Football League.

While some have come close, there’s still just one perfect team in NFL history. Watching Hall of Fame inductee Larry Csonka pop the cork off the ‘ol champagne bottle, along with his other teammates from that 1972 Dolphins team that won Super Bowl VII is one of the best traditions each year.

Hence, the projected below average teams would face off early before meeting the upper echelon of clubs later in the season. It brought the sense of success that would be short lived.
