Alpek Polyester USA, LLC has announced that it will cease operations at its Cedar Creek facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina, by July 31, 2025. According to a WARN Notice Report filed through the North Carolina Department of Commerce, the decision to permanently close the facility will impact a total of 180 employees. The facility is non-unionized and no bumping rights apply. The layoffs are also expected to be permanent.
