The Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has announced plans for the third annual Peach Week celebration in Moore County. Peach Week will run from July 18-27 and feature an array of special events highlighted by a Restaurant Week, where people can vote for their favorite peach experience in a number of categories with a chance to win a $250 gift card.

A stretch of Rosehill Road in northeastern Fayetteville will undergo two closures this summer for a pair of roundabouts to be constructed. An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will build the roundabouts at two Rosehill Road intersections, requiring these scheduled closure dates:Tamarack Drive: Closed June 16-July 2Landau Drive: Closed July 8-July 24The contractor will keep the road open, and do no work, during the July Fourth holiday.

Happy half year everyone! Believe it or not, we are now in June of 2025, officially halfway through the year. A few nights ago, I was looking over a vision board I had made at the beginning of the year. One of my best friends invited me to a vision board party where I was able to meet new people and get crafty with some scrapbooking paper and a lot of jewel stickers.
