South Sevier High School is the Sports School of the year. The Rams won state championships this past academic/athletic season in: softball, girls basketball and baseball. Coach of the year: Jerron Glazier-Kanab boys basketball Female athlete of the year: Trey Torgerson-North

Slate Reitz of Richfield High School football is the Male Glue of the Team award winner. His mom is great to work with at state tournaments and state track and field as well.

Whitley Goble of South Sevier girls basketball is the female glue of the team award winner. Her job was to guard the opposing team's best player, like glue, as it were. She played an instrumental role in the Rams winning the 2A girls basketball state championship.

My old drivers-ed teacher at Manti High School, Greg Dettinger, is the recipient of the John Yardley Impact Award winner. This august occasion in June occurs on his birthday.

Sorry if I terrified Pace Mullen :( I heard he was serving in the Texas El Paso Mission and as he completed receiving the award, he received an unexpected award: an Uncle Bradfather Bear Hug. Pace will be there for the dedication of our El Paso Temple, I bet :)

As the great @Robertlovell clarified: this is the Mid-Utah Radio Sports Award Banquet. He knows a lot more than how to pronounce Louisville correctly. Ha ha.

We don't know if this is a Pyrrhic victory yet. We have to see how the @Calstampeders understudies fare before making a judgment.
