AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – It was a beautiful Friday for the second round of The Masters, and some middle schoolers got to attend the tournament for the first time. The students of Hornsby Middle School face huge financial and housing challenge, but on Friday, it was all about enjoying The Masters and taking in all this place has to offer. Augusta’s Hornsby Middle School and Augusta National Golf Club are only 2 1/2 miles apart, but for these children, that journey has taken a lifetime.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Sunday at the Masters means lots of excitement as golfers go for the green jacket. It’s also exciting for patrons, who get there very early in the morning. They say the Masters is the toughest ticket in sports. If you are fortunate enough to make it here, you have to make sure you get a great seat. Talk about dedication. All these patrons doing dawn patrol at the Masters. “We got here at like 5:15ish.”“We got here around 4.”“3 a.m. at the gate.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - One of the many things that sets the Masters apart from other golf tournaments is the absence of cell phones, you can't have them here. If you want to make a call, you have to go old school. And you don't have to go far to find the bank of phones. Just to the left before you get to the first fairway. Free calls to anywhere in the world to talk to anyone you want. "My mom and my pop pop.""My mom.""I tried to call my husband. But he has spam set to automatically not answer.
