The search continues on Monday for a missing senior from Monday. Elizabeth Inman, 72, was last seen over the noon hour on Sunday. Inman was walking westbound on John Street near Vaughan Harvey Boulevard. “She suffers from a medical condition that may cause her to become disoriented,” RCMP said in a news release on Sunday. Police and ground search and rescue teams have been deployed to try and locate the missing woman.

Cardinals have failed to pick a new pope on the first day of the conclave. More than 130 voting cardinals are casting ballots for the next pontiff. A cardinal needs to receive more than two-thirds majority to be elected. Black smoke rose from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel after the first vote on Wednesday, meaning there was no consensus. The process continues on Thursday, with up to four votes taking place each day until a new pope is elected.
