On Feb. 11, 2001, Yinzers across western Pennsylvania watched as Three Rivers Stadium on Pittsburgh's North Shore came crumbling to the ground. Most people probably thought the remaining stadium seats went down with the structure. Not true. Pittsburgh's Action Sports learned several hundred survived and were sold to the Washington Wild Things. Fans can still sit in those seats on summer nights at Wild Things Park.
