    JENKS, Okla. — A citizen-led push to build a history museum is in full swing with progress being made to show where the city's been. It all started as a Facebook group called Jenks America: Past and Present which quickly gained a large following. Now a movement for a museum is well in the works. The Jenks America Museum and Historical Society is a newly designated 501(c)3 nonprofit trying to tackle the challenge.

    TULSA, Okla. — The TSA at Tulsa International Airport is enforcing the Real ID, which started May 7 after being pushed back several times. As of May 7, 44.9% of Oklahomans comply with the Real ID requirement. Going back to 2005 the Real ID was in conversations to enhance safety and security when traveling and entering federal buildings. This was in response to the 9/11 attacks and the security improvements and measures changed after the terrorist attacks.

    BARNSDALL, Okla. — On May 6, 2024, the town of Barnsdall changed after a deadly EF-4 tornado left homes and businesses with little hope of salvage. Going back to Barnsdall the sounds of chainsaws and demolition turned to chirping and vegetation where homes once stood. The east side of town is left with storm shelters and the memory of the community that lived there. 2 News went back to talk with people living in town and those left alone because their neighbors no longer called Barnsdall home.
