The St. Petersburg Housing Authority (St. Petersburg, Fla.) is set to begin construction to convert a former hospital into an affordable senior living community in the North Kenwood neighborhood of St. Petersburg, according to stpeterising.com. The 6-story former Edward White Hospital, built in 1974 and closed in 2014, will house an Evara Health (Clearwater, Fla.) clinic on the ground floor, as well as 71 units of affordable senior living.

AtlantiCare (Egg Harbor, N.J.) and Select Medical (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) are collaborating on a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Galloway Township, N.J., that marked a construction milestone, according to njbizmagazine. A ceremonial signing of a steel beam that will be placed in the structure marks the start of the next phase of development for the 3-story, 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, set to open in 2026.

Dayton Children’s is planning to open the $110 million Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness for youth this summer in Dayton, Ohio, according to the website daytondailynews.com. The center will start accepting its first patients on July 15 and include crisis intervention and inpatient and day treatments.
