ABILENE, Texas (BCH Sports) – Both the McMurry Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams were in action on Sunday afternoon, taking on the Schreiner University Mountaineers. The ladies were able to take care of business in dominant fashion, winning by a score of 74-37. With the win, McMurry improves to 5-1 in SCAC play, continuing what has been an impressive stretch of the season. They’ll look to continue this momentum as they face Texas Lutheran on the road this Friday at 5:30 PM.

ABILENE, Texas (BCH Sports) – Here is your recap from Friday night’s High School Basketball action. The Cooper Boys Basketball Team was defeated by Wichita Falls Legacy by a score of 30-27. It was a low-scoring affair throughout, but the Cougars held a lead until the Leopards had a late rally to steal the win. With the loss, Cooper remains as the only team in their district that remains winless in district play.

ABILENE, Texas (BCH Sports) – The Hardin-Simmons Cowgirls are on a roll. After losing in the sweet 16 last year, the HSU Women’s Basketball Team has only one loss through 15 games this season. Of course, it’s a new season with conference play about to begin, and these girls have a target on their backs. They are the favorites to win the American Southwest Conference, but of course, it’s easier said than done. The team thinks they’ve got what it takes to win it and much more.

ABILENE, Texas (BCH Sports) – An impressive season for the Abilene Christian Wildcats continues to get more impressive. ACU checked another box on their 12-win season by earning their first conference win on Saturday. The ladies dominated against Seattle, scoring 83 points and recording 15 steals. At one point this season, the Wildcats were 2-4, but they’ve now won 10 of their last 11 games.

ABILENE, Texas (BCH Sports) – It hasn’t exactly been sunshine and rainbows this season for the ACU Men’s Basketball team. The Wildcats have lost four games in a row and five of their last six. While the final score didn’t reflect it, the Wildcats just played one of their better games as they made the long road trip to Seattle. ACU had a double digit lead with about 10 minutes remaining, but their offense went cold, which left the door open for the Redhawks.
