NEW BEDFORD, MASS. (WHDH) - Jessica Blanchard spent part of her Sunday in the hospital after what she calls a violent attack. Blanchard said she was at Saint John’s Cemetery in New Bedford to visit her grandfather’s grave. As she left her car, she says a man hit her in the face and demanded her wallet. She also says he punched her and tore her shirt. When she fought back, he ran off. New Bedford police are now investigating. People who live by the cemetery say they’re scared.

MANSFIELD, MASS. (WHDH) - A Mansfield woman relied on a rental car to get to work. But when it was time for her to turn it in, she hit a roadblock.  So, she took the fast lane to Solve It 7. Britany Lobo’s life came to a screeching stop when her car died in 2022. “I was dealing with some financial hardships. I didn’t have the funds to go out and buy a new one,” said Britany. Without enough money for a new car, Britany found an affordable rental.

(WHDH) - An Andover woman noticed she was being billed for a Spotify account she never opened.    She tried to cancel it, but wasn’t having luck, so she tuned into Solve it 7.  Caryn Souza loves timeless tunes. “I like van Morrison. I like Sting, U2,” said Caryn. Now she wishes she could go back in time to when she first noticed charges for a premium Spotify account. “I started noticing them quite a few years ago, and it was $4.99 when I noticed, it was under my husband’s credit card.

BOSTON (WHDH) - John Russo knows how much his daughter Sara cares about others. In 2022, she needed that same care to help with her autism. “We were looking for a program that would help her with some of her social skills and life skills a bit,” said John. “She had slid back a little bit because of the pandemic.
