There’s no more urgent time to be in community than now. Amid the fear, shock, and uncertainty surrounding Trump’s reelection — and the significant role Latinx people played in the outcome — many of us are left asking: what can we do moving forward? Our recommendation? Get more involved with our local Latinx communities and grassroots organizations. In a city full of immigrants, workers, artists, and students, it’s essential to strengthen our networks and seek new ones.
