    AT&T announced Wednesday morning a new promise to its customers. Aiming to provide a new customer experience, AT&T introduced its AT&T Guarantee, which states that if a customer loses their phone service for more than an hour, the company will refund the cost of a day's service. It also applies if you lose fiber connectivity for 20 minutes.

    Another staple of our childhood is going to the dark side. In 2023, Jagged Edge Productions in collaboration with ITN Studios created the film "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey." ITN Studios announced that they plan to also turn Popeye the sailor man into a horror film. It's expected to come out in January 2025, where Popeye attacks counselors at a summer camp. The filmmakers called it a "raunchy and gory slasher" film.

    A frozen yogurt company announced in mid-October that it came out with a new flavor in anticipation of "Squid Game" season two, coming to Netflix on December 26th, 2024. 16 Handles came out with a new dessert based on Squid Game. It's called the "Squid Ink Black Matcha". It's a jet-black frozen yogurt, and eating it will turn your tongue black. However, the new flavor will only be in selected stores. It's available in Texas and four other states. There's one 16 Handles location in Frisco.

    American dinner food chain, Denny's, announced Tuesday that they plan to close 150 underperforming restaurants by the end of 2025 due to a fall in revenue and changing consumer habits. Do we know which ones yet? Not exactly, but the executive did say they would likely shut down those too old to remodel or those in unprofitable locations. The closures represent a 10% reduction in locations, with 50 restaurants expected to shut down in 2024 and 100 more in the next year.

    Two teachers from Spring, Texas have been placed on leave after allegations of giving students sleep-inducing stickers. The investigation started late Wednesday evening when Northgate Crossing Elementary, a school in Spring, Texas, north of Houston, announced that two of their preschool teachers had been placed on leave after they were accused of giving students special stickers believed to help with sleep.
