WICHITA, KS (WNCT) — R.J. Felton’s hot play continued on the trip to Wichita Saturday, Jan. 18. 2025 for the ECU men’s basketball team. Felton had been scoring at a high clip in recent losses to Memphis and North Texas, but this time, he made sure his team got the win. Felton hit a 3-pointer as time expired for a 75-72 purple and gold victory. He scored just 11 points but had the three largest. C.J. Walker did most of the other heavy lifting for the Pirates as he scored 28 and Jordan Riley added 16.

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — ECU’s men’s basketball team is going into Thanksgiving week with a 6-1 record after recent wins over Stetson and Illinois-Chicago. Head Men’s Basketball Coach Michael Schwartz talked about the hot start. “Yeah, you know, obviously, we, we just got back from Florida. That was three games in three days and we got two wins out there, would love to have been able to come back with three, but the team is growing right now,” Schwartz said. “We grew in the three games there.
