I am sorry my column is a little bit later than normal for a Monday, but I spent a lot of days hiding in the bushes at Nevillewood Country Club to see if I could catch a glimpse of its newest member, Aaron Rodgers. He never showed up, which means tomorrow I will head to Edgewood Country Club and do the same thing, then Wednesday I will be in the bushes at the Field Club. One of these days I will see him, right?

Well, actually, it was his grandmother who made a name for him: Rokafewlloa Taylor, part-homage to billionaire oil tycoon John D. Rockefeller — “She told me one day I’m gonna be rich,” he said — and part-unique flow. People have been putting their own twist on that famous American name since Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella records surfaced in the ’90s.

Steelers still had 9 prime-time games from 2022-23 when noted big names Mitch Trubisky and Kenny Pickett were at the controls so I’m gonna have to go ahead and assume their brand is QB-proof
