MILFORD - An early childhood learning center will soon rise from vacant land along Route 1 that was once home to auto accessories seller Starlander Beck. The Planning and Zoning Board recently approved three applications for the site listed as 708 Boston Post Road, allowing for construction of a two-story, 11,550-square-foot building to house The Learning Experience Academy of Early Education.

School staff, administrators, family and friends gathered to pay tribute to the graduates during the ceremony, which featured speakers that included Shreya Yadav, the valedictorian, and Sathwika Nadella, the salutatorian.

Vintage vehicles on display on Father's Day Shelton Historical Society will host its 21st annual Vintage Vehicles Antique & Classic Car Show from 10 a.m. to noon on June 15 at its Shelton History Center complex, 70 Ripton Road. This unique car show has become a tradition to enjoy with dads and grandfathers on Father's Day. Visitors admire cars they remember from decades past, from the earliest Model T's to 1970s and 80s high-performance muscle cars.
