I grew up in California and know what it is like to be a hot rodder and racer there. When I was growing up, any car 1966 and newer required an emissions inspection/test. But make no mistake, no matter what any of you out there say in other states, the car scene in California is next level. The big thing that has always made California tougher than many other states, was there visual inspection.

If there is one thing I have always done when getting into a new car to drive and share my thoughts on, it has been to keep an open mind for the first couple of days before forming an immediate opinion. It’s served me well over the years but I have to say that my time with the Bronco Sport Freewheeling you see here represents the first time that I can remember a car I initially thought was garish, I ended up really enjoying the look of by the end of my time with it.

Incredibly small percentages of American’s actually use their truck for any truck things. By truck things, I mean hauling and towing. In fact, the number of folks who ever tow, and who ever put ANYTHING in the bed of their trucks, is small when compared to how many trucks are sold each year. So if that is the case, why do so many people drive around in HD trucks? Why are there so many 2500 and 3500 trucks so each year?
