Immediately east of Pike Place Market, at 102 Pike St. on First Avenue, Starbucks said last year that it was “temporarily” closing that location — not to be confused with its historic old shop inside the market. But, as the DJC reported in January, the Starbucks signage was then pulled down, and landlord Samis Land Co. began seeking to fill the space in December. . . .
