    LYNNWOOD—Washington State Patrol is reporting the death of Marjorie S Thomas, 47, of Lynnwood who was driving her motorcycle at the time of the incident. Thomas was driving her motorcycle eastbound on SR-20 at mile point 99 in Skagit County when it failed to “negotiate the curve, went down an embankment” and then striking a tree. Thomas was pronounced deceased at the scene by Skagit Fire District 10. She was wearing her helmet. The incident occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
