    The gavel is about to fall at Historic Houston's Salvage Warehouse, where the nonprofit will begin to auction hundreds of doors and windows, bundles of wood flooring, tubs and hardware collected from demolished homes. The acre-size warehouse at 1200 National, in Houston's First Ward, is set to close this summer, said Lynn Edmundson, executive director of Historic Houston, which is hosting the first of two auctions at 10 a.m. Saturday.
