DARTMOUTH – In the battle of the Spartans, St. Mary’s of Lynn had just enough to take down a tough Bishop Stang team on the road. A couple timely hits and a well-pitched ballgame was just enough to lift St. Mary’s to a 3-1 win Wednesday afternoon in a Catholic Central League baseball tilt. “(Bishop Stang) has been hitting the ball all year long, so for us to hold them to one run – that’s very good,” said St. Mary’s coach Derek Dana.
