Crews have been working all day to tear down the former Fownes factory at 102 South Main Street, after a massive fire engulfed the vacant structure late Tuesday night. “I think everyone here is sad to see that building come down,” said Robin Wentworth, a resident. While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, officials have indicated that the fire is suspicious.
