Organised by South Holland District Council, the new event will run alongside the regular market in Market Place and Hall Place. Traders will be required to use their own stalls and gazebos and pitches cost £10.

    The Spalding Flower Parade had a new route for 2025 — with the floats starting their journey from Springfields. The scheduled 11am start was slightly delayed — amid suggestions of a car in the way along the route. That was all sorted by about 11.25am with the floats all setting off along Roman Bank to begin the parade. By noon they were all safely on their way and heading towards Queens Road and Halmer Gate.
