If Congress doesn’t act quickly, an ill-advised rule finalized by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in the waning hours of the Biden administration will be a major problem for consumers, lenders and the entire credit system. The rule in question would prohibit medical debt on credit reports, prohibiting lenders from considering complete and accurate information when making lending decisions. This can lead to consumers taking on future debts they cannot afford to pay back.

SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. — Nearly 15 years ago, a Sevier County woman disappeared without a trace after a mysterious fire. Down a long driveway now covered in leaves are the remnants of a once-cozy cabin Theresa Mcmullin called home. Now, it's a long-forgotten crime scene. "The best way to describe it, it had basically burned all the way down," Sevier County Sheriff's Deputy Chief Jeff McCarter said of the scene first responders encountered.

It’s so funny to be wearing suits again (thanks, Belk sale) because it feels like such a throwback. When I first got into the business, women felt they HAD to wear suits to be taken seriously. Years later, we wouldn’t be caught dead in them. Now, I guess they’re back in style. 🤷🏼♀️ https://t.co/8u8dtJSG4e
