This includes our viewing area, and a good portion of the Lone Star State. When: The  storms look to begin Friday evening and storm chances should end early Sunday morning. TEXAS, USA — Last weekend, we had cold temperatures with snow in the Panhandle, but in true Texas fashion we will see almost the opposite weather this weekend. Sunday afternoon high temperatures will be flirting with records, so make sure you have plans to stay cool. A cold front moved through Thursday, so Friday looks to be a fairly pleasant day for the Concho Valley and the Big Country.  It will still be a warm end to the work week, but any drop in temperature is better than none.

TEXAS, USA — After showers around Friday, we will have a very warm Saturday.  There is a very small chance for storms Saturday overnight, and that is why we have a weather impact alert in effect. Any storms that form could produce quarter-sized hail and gusty winds. Behind any lingering showers Friday, we will warm-up to near 80 for high temperatures across the area. It should be pleasant for Friday evening plans.

TEXAS, USA — Well folks, we are officially in spring. While the first day of spring, Thursday, was cool with very dry air, we will warm up and see gusty winds for the first weekend of astronomical spring. As of now, the fastest gusts look to be around 20-30 mph. It certainly will not be a repeat of this past Friday, but it will elevate fire weather concerns, so make sure you stay safe outside. The National Weather Service does have a red flag warning in effect for our area through 5 p.m. Friday.
