The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning as parts of the UK brace for severe rain over the next few days. Southern parts of England and Wales have been placed under a yellow weather warning between Thursday evening and Friday morning amid flooding and associated disruption. Heavy rain, strong winds, and lightning are forecast in some areas, with power cuts predicted in extreme cases.
