    In the largest deal in Hollywood to close this year, a 116,000-square-foot building that is home to Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand Skims Body Inc. has sold for $105 million. Located along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, at 1601 Vine St., the eight-story Class A office building was 100% leased to Skims at the time of sale. The buyer was Nevada-based private equity firm Kingsbarn Realty Capital.

    Malta-based international hotel owner and investment firm Corinthia Group, in recent partnership with Kuwait-based shareholding closed company Action Real Estate Co., has acquired two boutique hotel properties in Beverly Hills totaling just under 100 keys. The hotels, Maison 140 and Mosaic Hotel, sit one block opposite one another in Beverly Hills, on Lasky Drive and Spaulding Avenue, respectively.

    Dallas-based Baranof Holdings, a developer and asset manager of self-storage facilities, has purchased a 1.29-acre industrial land site in Hollywood for $28 million in order to pave way for a new Los Angeles self-storage facility. The transaction marks the largest land sale in Hollywood during the first quarter of the year.
