Police are searching for a driver after a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Friday morning on the Las Vegas Strip. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the crash occurred at about 3:33 a.m. near Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. According to authorities, the vehicle was located “a short distance away” from the crash unoccupied. No further information was immediately available. This is a developing story.

The Metropolitan Police Department says it seized over 800 pounds of marijuana from a home in the northwest Las Vegas Valley on Wednesday. According to police, the department’s narcotics unit executed a search warrant on an illegal marijuana growing operation in the 4000 block of Sea Hero Street. Police said that during the execution of the search warrant, approximately 814 pounds of marijuana was recovered.

A 32-year-old man was arrested after Henderson police said he intentionally struck another vehicle in an alleged road rage incident. According to the Henderson Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Boulder Highway and Gibson Road in response to a crash at about 11 a.m. Tuesday. Police said that the investigation revealed that a man was driving a truck and intentionally struck another vehicle.

One lucky slots player spend the holiday weekend by becoming a millionaire at Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport. According to the airport, the unidentified slots player hit a massive jackpot worth $1,816,404.94 on Friday. The airport said in a post on X that the winner was playing the “Wheel of Fortune” slot machine in the D gates when they hit the jackpot. No further information was immediately available.
