    Chicken finger favorite Zaxbys has debuted its first-ever location in the Las Vegas Valley. Located at 5290 Blue Diamond Road, Zaxbys opened for dine-in and drive-thru service on Monday. The restaurant’s Las Vegas debut comes as Zaxbys continues to expand outside of the Southeast, the company said in a news release. “We are excited to bring the first Zaxbys location to Las Vegas!” said Royce Chow, CEO of Zax Nevada LLC.

    The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal wrong-way crash early Monday morning north of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. According to police, the crash, which involved a minivan and a semi tractor-trailer, occurred at about 1:42 a.m. near IR15 and mile marker 79, southbound. The crash is approximately 25 miles north of Exit 54 (Las Vegas Motor Speedway).

    The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured after they were struck by a bus early Thursday morning. According to Las Vegas police, the crash occurred at about 5:24 a.m. on westbound Lake Mead near Marion Drive. Authorities say an RTC bus was traveling westbound on Lake Mead when the vehicle struck a pedestrian that was in the roadway. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries, police said.

    The Henderson Police Department has released new information after a vehicle crashed into a Chick-fil-A restaurant on Monday afternoon, injuring five people. According to police, the crash occurred around 2 p.m. Monday at 9925 S. Eastern Ave. (just north of St. Rose Parkway). On Wednesday, police shared that the 79-year-old driver experienced a medical episode. As a result, authorities said the individual was not cited for the crash.
