    The Who on Thursday announced that the group will bring its final tour of the United States and Canada to Las Vegas later this year. The Who will conclude the tour in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, Sept. 28, the group announced in a news release. Calling it “a truly grand finale of their illustrious six-decade career,” The Who said the band will perform hit songs from their entire catalog as part of the tour.     The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning that left a pedestrian dead. According to police, the incident occurred at about 3:20 a.m. near Flamingo Road and , Street. Authorities say a sedan was traveling east on Flamingo Road when a female pedestrian was crossing the street east of Palos Verdes, outside of a marked crosswalk. The sedan struck the female and left the scene, police said, noting that the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

    The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a crash Friday morning that left a juvenile pedestrian with critical injuries. According to police, the crash, which involved a pedestrian and a vehicle, occurred at about 11:25 a.m. in the 7500 block of Whispering Sands Drive. The juvenile pedestrian was transported to UMC in critical condition, authorities said, noting that the vehicle remained at the scene. Arbor View High School is located in the area.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the multi-agency operation, which took place April 28 and 29, led to the arrest of 10 people.
