    A "sneaky" $3.50 recipe invented to trick children into eating more vegetables has been hailed the best school tuckshop grub in Queensland. The creamy vegetable pasta recipe was invented by tuckshop workers Candice Walker and Lisa O'Brien from Bay View State School, on the outskirts of Brisbane. The recipe won first prize in the Tuckshop Recipe of the Year contest, which is run by the Queensland Association of School Tuckshops and Health and Wellbeing Queensland.

    In short: No fines have been issued from new speeding cameras that were meant to target offending drivers at roadworks sites. The cameras were supposed to go live in September 2022, but Transport and Main Roads has confirmed the devices have so far only collected "vehicle speed data". What's next? The cameras are now expected to begin issuing infringement notices from May this year after operational trials finish.
