    Weiss High School hired Prosper offensive coordinator Malcom Hill Monday as its new football head coach. A Dallas-Fort Worth native, he played four years at Rice University as a cornerback. Hill replaces Vernon Hughes, who left Weiss to take the head role at Mesquite Horn. Hughes went 17-5 in two seasons as the head coach at Weiss with two playoff losses and no wins. In the 2024-25 season, he led the team to an 8-3 record but lost to Angleton in the first round.
