With the previous KW websites I was able to embed my AR site into my webpage through an RSS feed, however with the new sites we are having a tough time getting it to cooperate. Any KW Active Rainers having any success with this? I did get the homekeepr blog to embed, just having a tough time with the AR blog.

North Carolina MountainsSeen at Beech Mountain near Boone and Banner ElkClick to Watch VideoWe stayed with some friends at their mountain home in Beech mountain located about 3.5 +/- hours from Cary NC. It was during the hottest week of the year which was the week celebrating July 4th 2024. The temps in the mountains were in the 80s. Back home it hit 106 degrees which isn't normal. We constantly saw deer on the roads and just outside the house.

Golf makes a comeback in the Triangle AreaThe early to mid 2000s seemed to indicate fewer people were interested in golf due to video games, phones, and media. Golf homes weren't in as high of a demand. Gold memberships were down and golf courses were shutting down, being sold or facing bankruptcy. Then, Covid hit and the shutdown sent people spiraling. Almost anything outdoors with social distancing was desirable again. Even homes that backed to walking trails were in high demand.

How does history affect women in business and Real Estate? I saw a story on Instagram the other day and it really left me thinking about how far women have come in my lifetime. The story was by Spanx CEO and founder Sara Blakely. She mentioned that it wasn't until 1988 that a woman could get a business loan. I looked that up and she is right. Isn't that mind blowing?
