A fire early Sunday morning damaged a building in Springville that was supposed to house a new business offering robotics programs. The Springville Fire Department told KSL that a call about the fire came in around 6 a.m. Sunday and was contained to one portion of the building, which is located around 1480 N. Main St. According to KSL, the department said it was possibly caused by an electrical issue.

Brigham Young University will now be home to a medical school, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced Monday. In a statement released Monday morning, the church said the school will have a major focus on “international health concerns” that impact its members and humanitarian efforts.
