A Plum native and student at Saint Vincent College is taking the bowling world by storm, aiding in the university's women's bowling team making its first NCAA appearance. Mareana Pilyih, 19, was named the 2024-2025 National Rookie of the Year by the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association and the NCAA Division III Rookie of the Year.
