SHREVEPORT, La. - Here's a cautiously optimistic update regarding the forecast for the eclipse. Viewing conditions look a little better for some people, especially in the northern zones. Still, expect some sort of cloud cover, but high-resolution model guidance shows some higher clouds only in the northern zones that should allow solar radiation to get through depending on the thickness. The further south you go, expect cloud cover to get thicker and rain chances to increase.
