When the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival ends, there's a bittersweet feeling similar to the emotions of saying goodbye to friends at a high school graduation. Despite the weather temperatures pushing 100° throughout the three-day festival, attendees often plan their outfits weeks ahead, and in 2025, festivalgoers understood the assignment when it came to their ensembles. Coachella has seen its fair share of fashion trends since it first began in 1999.

The 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival kicked off at the Empire Polo Field in Indio on Friday, April 11. The three-day weekend fest, which stretches across two weekends (the second weekend runs April 18-20), boasts a star-studded lineup with headliners Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone, as well as other artists such as Travis Scott, Missy Elliott, Benson Boone, Megan Thee Stallion, and Charli xcx. New this year is the Red Bull Mirage near the Quasar Stage.
