KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Tennessee Men’s Basketball assistant coach Rod Clark is leaving Rocky Top after four years with the program, a source confirmed to 6 News. He will join the staff of newly-appointed Indiana head coach Darian DeVries. Clark has played a major role in recruiting since joining the program in 2021. He notably served as the lead recruiter who brought both Dalton Knecht and Chaz Lanier to Knoxville.

COALFIELD, Tenn. (WATE) — Luke Treece has been digging his cleats into the Coalfield High School baseball field for years. “Probably like four years old,” said Treece. “Just carrying around a big red bat, hitting with the high school guys at the time.”That wouldn’t be the last of Treece coming up to bat with the high school team before he actually entered ninth grade.
