The water and sewer district board is researching how much capacity its water and updated sewer system can handle from a number of new requests for hook ups. The board put a moratorium on new connections until it could get data on water and sewer capacity, which they expect to have in August this year.

    Beaverhead County Museum officials are outlining funding priorities for facilities and programs for the next fiscal year budget, which starts in July. Board Chairman Mark McGinley explained the remaining funds available in its current year budget and sought input from other board members and staff on the most pressing facility improvement projects so the budget can be approved at the June meeting.

    A bridge on Highway 91 North will get its deck replaced sometime later this year, officials say. The state-maintained two-lane bridge approximately one mile out of Dillon has been reduced to one lane for several years.
