Police and SWAT officers surrounded a building for hours in Kent on Thursday. Smoke billowed out of the building near 68th Avenue South and South 217th Street, where a firetruck was parked close by. A drone flew out of the building at about 2:30 p.m.Kent police have released few details about the incident and did not immediately respond to phone calls and emails asking for more information. A department official told KOMO News that they were investigating a possible shooting involving an officer.
