    The Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council has issued an urgent notice to residents across the region due to critically low water levels as a result of ongoing faults at the Jardine pumps. Outages as a result of “extremely low water levels” began from 6pm on November 30 across the communities of New Mapoon, Seisia, Injinoo and Umagico, and between 10 and 11pm at Bamaga.
