    I have long promised myself that I'd book a festive city break and with Edinburgh's Christmas Market always looking picture perfect I decided this was the place to go. Personally, I've never found fault with Liverpool's Christmas Markets but there are a lot of people who are quick to compare them against other UK cities. With this in mind I was interested to see how Edinburgh's compared to the ones based on St George's Plateau.
